And when I find them—no matter where they’ve been waiting—I don’t just see their beauty.

I can feel it.

I look for the strength in a piece. The story. The character. The possibility that it still has something beautiful left to say.

I don’t keep every piece I find.

Sometimes it’s only one beautiful part that catches my eye.

A detail. A setting. A stone. A charm. A piece of history.
