Our Story
Nearly 40 years ago, I started a small business called Smell-Goods. I traveled to bike weeks, and festivals, even local businesses selling handcrafted scented accessories for saddlebags, camp fire bombs, motorcycles, vehicles, wall ornaments and everyday life. What began as a simple idea quickly grew into something much bigger. I always believed every person has a scent that speaks to them differently — a scent tied to memory, comfort, freedom, peace, adventure, or identity (eg: stenched saddlebags from dirty laundry) . And when people go through a battle or good times, they often realize the real losses or gains were never just wasted away— it was distance and time away from the parts of themselves that once, within, felt most alive. And occasionally we just cant seem to connect those dots...De-javu'? Maybe. Although rest assured, there is a connection! And there is no denying it. And this is where smell goods came to life. Capturing yesterday, today and whatever awaits the desire... that awaits us...
